Parisian autumn

A crispy autumn day is perfect for exploring Paris. The natural light is softer, the colours of the leaves brighter. It is neither too warm nor too chilly to remain outside. There is a certain spring to the step, so to speak. Last weekend, we retraced the route from our apartment to Montsouris.

Evidently, Square de Montsouris is even lovelier than when we visited a few months ago. It makes us yearn for a dwelling here, which we could not afford, and will probably never be able to. To console ourselves, we sought out some comfort food over at Le Jardin de Montsouris, a small Vietnamese restaurant just over on the other side of Parc Montsouris that serves delicious bo bun and banh cuon. ;)

Nice to be staying in the city (u r staying within the city right lil? kekeke) and be able to just walk about with such nice scenery around each corner :)

Hehe, you mean you can’t tell? Hint: F and I nowadays consider the Champ de Mars as our “local” jogging spot ;)

All kidding aside, Paris is such a walkable city with plenty of lovely sights. There are some uglier sights too – it can’t be all pretty – but for most parts, there are always something interesting or worth noting.
