31 December 2016: am I being too idealistic about the number of French books I’d read in a year? Most years, I’ll nudge close to the number but not quite the goal I’ve set for myself. Grrrr. To be honest, I’m a little surprised that I managed to squeeze considerable reading in, considering my vacations this year were activity-filled (snow-shoeing, canyon hiking, trekking etc) and I did not do any long distance travel (i.e. the furthest I travelled in 2016 was to Jordan). Onwards to 2017!
