The Big Read 2017
Does it matter that the Big Read 2016 fell a wee bit short of the official goal? I think not. (OK, I was a bit bummed) Fingers crossed I’ll be able to carve out more reading time in 2017 and meet the challenge of (yet another) 50 books for the final count. As usual, 35 English and 15 French.

31 December 2017: This is a good year for reading (Agatha Christie). Long haul flights always help, and I had a few of them this year. Somewhat less diverse perhaps, compared to previous years. Given the popularity of BDs (bande dessinées, aka graphic books) in France, it really is just a matter of time before I discover the joy they bring although they’re not particularly easy to transport everywhere nor to read on Kindle. I’m making use of public libraries for the continuous supply of BDs to read ;)
