Postcards: Blue in Oia (GR)

The mere mention of Greece easily conjures up the image of white-washed buildings with blue windows and doors, or blue-domed roofs. Taking advantage of the colour selection mode on my trusty point-and-shoot, here’s my attempt to show you just how well-loved blue (and white) is, especially in the Cyclades.

The last picture, well, what can I say? Blue is my favourite colour, and comes summer, I’d inevitably give myself a pedicure with this bright and vibrant shade. Pashmina aside, I own too many clothing articles in various shades of blue – shoes being the notable exception – and even my ex-colleagues recently gave me a blue bag as going-away gift. Perhaps this is part of the little details that cement my adoration for Greece just that wee bit more. ;)
